Hosen Kiat
MB.BS, FRACP, FACP, FACC, FCCP, DDU
A
medical graduate of Monash University in Melbourne, Professor Kiat completed
his cardiology training in 1985 and spent 10 years as a full-time staff
cardiologist and Research Director at the prestigious hospital, Cedars-Sinai
Medical Centre, with a Professorship from the UCLA School of Medicine,
Los Angeles. He is also a specialist in nuclear medicine and a Diplomate
of the American Boards of Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear
Medicine.
A
prolific academic with over 200 scientific publications, Eastwest Medical
Makeover, released in June this year is his maiden book for the general
public. The book is a succinct yet comprehensive blueprint for a longevity
oriented and achievable robust life style, based on his long term passion
in the eastern philosophy and his profound knowledge in western medicine.
Professor
Kiat is a dynamic and humorous speaker with over 150 invited lectureships
across 4 continents. He has appeared in most network TVs and is currently
a regular guest with the Channel 9 affiliate stations.
